As we head into Winter Break, I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for the thoughtful cards and generous gifts. Your kindness is truly appreciated and mean so much to me.

I wish you and your family a safe, restful, and joyful Winter Break. May it be filled with warmth, laughter, and special time together.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year on Monday, January 5th

Snowmen at NIGHT

Tomorrow is our LAST day of school before our Winter Break!

Students are welcome to wear clean pajamas for PJ Day!

We will be watching a movie and or playing board games
and students are welcome to bring a special snack.

We return to school on Monday, January 5, 2026

We worked with snowmen ALL day!

After listening to Snowmen at Night, students created a LIST of snowmen activities!

Then, they drew images of their TOP 3

After picking their TOP 3, students picked their favourite Snowmen activity to create oil pastel art!

Gingerbread Task, Multiplication Homework and Friday!

Students finished their Gingerbread House task with area and descriptive writing describing their HOUSE!

Students will bring home a multiplication & division flatsheet to support
their practice time at home!

I strongly encourage students to continue practicing their multiplication and corresponding division facts. When we return in January, we will be moving into more complex math concepts that require strong multiplication and division fact fluency.

Students who are confident with their facts will be much more successful and less frustrated as the math becomes more challenging.

Students do NOT need to return the homework!

On Friday, December 19th, the Grade 4 students will have a Movie Day!

They can choose between IF, Abominable or SING

If a student does not want to watch a movie, they can play board games or do different art tasks!
