Tomorrow is Retake Day!

We started our morning with brainstorming for paragraph writing!

Students worked on a Four Square Planner to organize their ideas!

In Science, students worked on a Non-Contact Forces reading comprehension!

The Parent / Teacher / Student Learning Conference booking system is OPEN!

Families can book a 15-minute slot with the homeroom teacher during the available times. All bookings will be done through your parent MyCBE account.

Conferences times are as follows:

Thursday, November 27 from 4:30 – 7:45 (for Kinder to Grade Five)

Friday, November 28 from 9:15 – 2:00 (for Kinder to Grade Five)

We are working on building independence and problem-solving skills in the classroom. 

To support this, students are expected to come to school ready to learn and willing to try their best. Mrs. Sloane expects students to make an effort when they are stuck; sitting and avoiding the task is unexpected behaviour and does not help them move forward as learners. When students need help, it is their job as learners to try strategies such as asking a friend, looking for clues around the classroom, or re-reading the instructions on the Smartboard before seeking teacher support.
