Living Systems, Triangles, Wheel Safety and World Day for Cultural Diversity

WHOOPS! Mrs. Sloane was stuck on Monday instead of Tuesday!

Our final science unit is Living Systems.
Living systems are groups of living things that depend on each other and their environment to survive. Students will learn how plants, animals, and humans interact in habitats and communities. When one part of a living system changes, it can affect all the other living things in the system.

Today we were sorting and classifying different Living Things!

We started this task...but ran out of time, so we will continue tomorrow!

WEAR YOUR BEST TO CELEBRATE WORLD DAY FOR CULTURAL DIVERSITY
Thursday, May 21 is World Day for Cultural Diversity. To help celebrate, students and staff are encouraged to dress in clothes they would wear to a family celebration, or in a traditional / cultural outfit to celebrate their culture. This could include wearing something that is important / special to them or their family such as a hat, jewelry, a special shirt, shoes or outfit, etc.
