Shape City and Perseverance Mountain

Yikes...I missed a few blogs because I was away for Robin's graduation and supporting Mrs. Brinson in the office!

In Math, students are working on a Shape City to show their personal understanding of polygons, quadrilaterals, triangles, lines, and angles!

In Heath, we are working on our Perseverance Mountain! Perseverance is like climbing a mountain. At the bottom of the mountain are the challenges, hard tasks, and things that make us feel nervous or frustrated. As we climb, we can have a growth mindset by telling ourselves positive affirmations and encouragement to help us keep going even when things feel difficult. When we don’t give up and keep trying, we can reach the top of the mountain and feel proud of what we accomplished.
