Citizenship Shield

Students shared their understanding of rights and responsibilities by creating a citizenship shield. Each section of the shield showed an important right they have, such as the right to feel safe and be heard. Students also included responsibilities that go with those rights, like following rules, showing respect, and helping others. As they shared their shields, students explained their thinking and gave examples of how they can be responsible citizens at school and in their community.
