As we learn more about oral storytelling, we know that some stories focus around a specific event in time!
Today, students learned about timelines, and for homework, they are being asked to complete their own personal timeline from BIRTH to NOW!
Students are bringing home their brainstorming ideas, and they are ready to work WITH you to complete their timeline task!
Students can draw pictures, write words or print off pictures OR any combination of the three ideas!
Please complete the homework, and return it on Wednesday!
For some students math was challenging today!
I have shared a few questions for practice!
Following the STEPS is important, and paying attention to addition and subtraction is very important!
Winter Walk Day – Wednesday, February 4th
On Wednesday, the Grade 4 classes will be going on a Community Walk to the Country Hills Village Pond as part of our Winter Walk Day. This walk provides students with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, engage in physical activity, and connect with our local community.
We will leave the school at 10:00 a.m. and return by 11:45 a.m., in time for lunch. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for milder winter weather and walking conditions, such as layered clothing and comfortable footwear suitable for outdoor walking.
Students may bring a small snack to eat during the walk and a water bottle if they wish. Please note that students will be responsible for carrying and caring for their own personal belongings throughout the walk.
