Stories, Curling, Space, Community Walk and Homework

We continued with oral storystelling today, and focused on the roles of the storyteller!
We practiced telling a familar story...The Three Little Pigs and we focused on simple details.

Phin re-told The Three Little Pigs

After listening to the book The Giving Tree, students shared the highlights from their perspective and worked on being able to re-tell the story!

We are curling in Phys.Ed

Ask me what I think of curling!

Digging a little deeper into SPACE

Winter Walk Day – TOMORROW
Tomorrow the Grade 4 classes will be going on a Community Walk to the Country Hills Village Pond as part of our Winter Walk Day. This walk provides students with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, engage in physical activity, and connect with our local community.
We will leave the school at 10:00 a.m. and return by 11:45 a.m., in time for lunch. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for milder winter weather and walking conditions, such as layered clothing and comfortable footwear suitable for outdoor walking.
Students may bring a small snack to eat during the walk and a water bottle if they wish. Please note that students will be responsible for carrying and caring for their own personal belongings throughout the walk.

Please don't forget the Timeline HOMEWORK!

Students can draw pictures, write words or print off pictures OR any combination of the three ideas!

Please complete the homework, and return it on Wednesday!
